First off, very important! The wrench is used to hold the nut in place and prevent it from spinning while you use the allen wrench to turn the screw. And though the wrench is thin, wrapping it in some material made it comfortable to hold. Also, make sure all screws are tight or bed frame will squeak.It was fairly easy to assemble and took me 20-30 minutes to finish the job. Our cali king sized bed is now 26 inches off the ground and added a ton of storage space underneath. I was able to store a few containers, luggages, boxes and misc items underneath and its very easy to pull them out. The only (necessary) consequence of having 14 inch high storage underneath your bed is that it is very easy to see all of those items with no effort. I will need buy a bedskirt.
