If you are looking for a great ANR headset, look no further! Most people I know use the Bose A20, and it is indeed a great and very proven headset, however I have this natural bend to always search for something that is different than what everyone else always gravitates toward. As a Motorsports enthusiast this headset really caught my eye, I have always appreciated the look of bare carbon fiber. In person these things look really pro, and have a nice gold metallic logo that is integrated underneath the clear coating (so no worrying about the emblem gradually getting worn away over time). These things are super light! I wore them during a three hour cross country flight the other night and you almost forget they are on your head. I have seen that some complain about wearing them with sunglasses underneath the ear cups/ that the clamping pressure is a little too much. In my experience, I have had no such issue. Audio quality is excellent and the ANR functionality is truly quite effective, though it still allows you to hear enough tone in the engine to know if something were not sounding right. Only slight qualm, and i really do mean slight, the cord length is a little on the short side. For us general aviation flyers, really not an issue, and if anything, and aircraft depending, it may prove to be an advantage with having less cord to get tangled or looped around something. Though, I can see how one may desire a bit more cord length if their aircraft's cabin so demanded. But again for most users this is negligible! Summary: Light, Comfortable, Excellent Audio Quality, Effective ANR,Competitive Pricing, Looks Way Cooler Than The A20's (The Pagani Zonda of Aviation Headsets for those of you who are super car fans ;) )
