I was hesitant to make purchase, because my prior purchases did not live up to their descriptionTo my surprise, I get a complete dark room with this purchaseThank you amazon do the suggestionThese are sooo pretty! I was hesitant at first based on photos but once you get them out of the package they’re great. They are super high quality and block out almost 100% of the sun.I spent all evening hanging this curtain rods and curtains… I’m not thrilled with the color. They are not white. They’re more silver or grey!These curtains were a long time in coming for my daughters' room, mostly out of issues with curtain rods and the wall more than anything. We have an older home, and a certain window in the bedroom just gets cold, even with window upgrades (hey, they are wonders in every other window but that one). With winter coming, some good blackout curtains seemed prudent. Well, a good curtain rod later, and we had these up, and I am quite pleased with the results. I've seen some complaints about the color, but I quite like the lightly mottled appearance. Looks good if you're going for something more whimsical, and the colors are lovely. The curtains hung well and are weighty enough to stay put, which is a plus for the added purposes of blocking light and maintaing temperature. The room feels significantly warmer, and my girls are sleeping well.It is nice to have two panels of same curtains. Also the curtains look really pretty amd they are lightweight and in good quality. However I like soft material of cloths and this set of curtain seems like a little hard material. The color and design of the curtains are really cool and perfect for my son's room. They can block out sunlights and keep room really dark. Like it!I like these Pinzon Light Blue Curtains, tho I would of preferred they be a solid light blue color, rather than the darker blue veining that runs through the light blue curtains, but I guess it gives added interest to the curtains.Yes they are room darkening, black out curtains, they really do reduce the amount of light coming into the room to almost zero, as for them reducing noise, I have other curtains that are also room darkening, black out, and noise reducing, but I have never seen any noise reduction with any of them. I have double paned windows that I keep closed, but my apt overlooks the pool. I live in a 55+ community, and when the grandkids are here, yelling and shrieking, I get to still hear all of it!To be fair, I run white noise machines, that don't block out all noises either.The grommets on these curtains are huge, which makes hanging these curtains very easy, whether you use a curtain rod, or a tension rod. They are the perfect length at 52" x 63", for both my bedroom and living room windows.I love that these light blue curtains come with 2 curtain panels, as I am finding that more and more curtains only come with one curtain panel.
