Elite Cat6e plenum is 23AWG, unshielded and solid bare copper for optimal signal performance. It is constructed with a spline for improvement on near end crosstalk which reduces the interference between the 4 twisted pairs. This gives you a better signal and a stronger cable ! Plenum rated cable is built for air flow areas such as air ducts and between the floors. For fire safety this Plenum jacket is created with high quality low smoke flame retardant making it a great choice when fire code requires higher standards. The low smoke jacket emits less fumes when burnt and it prevents the spread of fire along the cable. Cat6e plenum cable is great in that it can replace your riser rated and general use cable (cm rated). Our Cat6e plenum cable is available in 250 and 1000ft lengths. Had no issues at all wiring office. Cable pulled smoothly no kinks. Had 18 drops with longest run being 250ft, passed fluke test. I went with CAT6e instead of the regular CAT6 because of the spline separator in the center, it helps against near end cross talk. Excellent quality and even better pricing.I've done a lot of research before making this purchase and here are the reasons why I went with this cable...Compared many cables and decided to give this a try. The main reason being the cable is bare copper compared to most of the low end copper clad aluminum junk listed all over amazon. Secondly, I am paying for plenum cable and expect PLENUM. This cable is UL listed, ETL verified and third party listed meaning its passed the burning test for true plenum. I've compared this cable to other listings claiming plenum, but most other plenum cables on amazon are not UL listed. Yes, there are some ETL only listed cables, but ETL is not as strict as UL, therefore I trust UL listed plenum over ETL. The pricing is very affordable for real plenum CAT6 cable.Really glad I gave this cable a try. This will be my go-to for future projects.
