Nice packaging.Full reviewI purchased this hair dryer because our classic style hair dryer had finally died after many years of service. My girlfriend and I had been looking at various options for replacements. Of course she had been looking at the Dyson hair dryer for a long time, however, it has always had a price that was bit higher than we were willing to pay. She kept her eye out for refurbs, but no good values showed up. Now that our standard hard dryer had died we had to make a quick decision to replace it.We looked around on Amazon for a replacement and found this dryer. It looked like a good option. I had attachments that appeared to be similar to those offered with the more expensive hair dryers. We decided to go with the blue hair dryer and pulled the trigger. Once the dryer shipped it got here very quickly. It came in a sturdy box, and there was no damage to it. Packaging was good. It held the hair dryer and attachments in place and they were not shaken out of their spots. This is good because you can just keep the box to store the attachments since they all spots within the packaging. We’re just going to keep them there so we do not loose them. It came with instructions that are simple and easy to understand. There are only two buttons, so not too much there to explain. It does provide some useful info, however, like how to clean the filter.The dryer itself is put together pretty nice. It’s casing, buttons, everything, feel a lot more sturdy than our old Conair dryer had. It’s solid feeling, yet not too heavy. The buttons are nice and operate as they should. The cable is nice and secure. The plug end has a breaker built in. Not a whole lot to say about it, but it doesn’t feel cheap. It feels well put together.There are 2 fan speed options; Slow and Fast. Both seem to be pretty good speeds. The slow speed is more gentle, and the high speed is there if you just want to get the job done. What I did notice is that this hair dryer is considerably less loud than the hair dryer it replaces. I’ m not going to say it’s whisper quiet, but the sound of it running is not as imposing as our older dryer. The dryer also has four different temperature settings. They all seem to work fine, and there are distinct differences you can feel between them. There is also a cycle option for these four temp settings. I find this helpful if you don’t just want to blow superheated air at your head for an extended period of time. This feature may have it’s other uses, I do not know because I am not part of the hair styling world, but I find it a good option for now keeping the hair drying going without getting too hot.The attachments seem pretty sturdy themselves. They are plastic, but they do not feel flimsy. They are blue, and color match the dryer I chose. My girlfriend has used them a bit and she feels like they work pretty good. She approves.Overall I would recommend trying this hair dryer out. It feels solid, it does what it says on the box, the instructions are simple and easy to understand, it has good features, it has some good attachments, looks good, need I keep going?
